2. Description of Services
GoFlats provides an online marketplace platform enabling users to:
- Search and apply for rental properties, flats, and PG accommodations.
- Browse and connect with prospective flatmates.
- Read and submit honest, crowd-sourced reviews of properties and residential complexes.
We act solely as an intermediary matching platform. We do not own, manage, inspect, or endorse any property listings or user profiles displayed on the platform.
3. User Content Guidelines and Code of Conduct
You are solely responsible for the content (photos, text, contact information, reviews) you post. You agree not to upload, publish, or transmit any content that:
- Is false, misleading, defamatory, libelous, or harassing.
- Infringes on any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Contains spam, advertisements, or promotional materials not related to property listings.
- Promotes discrimination, hate speech, or illegal activities.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, edit, or remove user content that violates these Terms or is otherwise deemed harmful.
4. Verification and Safety Disclaimer
We do not run background checks, verify the identity of users, or verify the condition and ownership of listed properties. All interactions, transactions, and agreements (including rental agreements, roommate agreements, payments) are solely between you and the respective parties. We urge all users to perform their own due diligence, visit properties in person, and exercise caution before making any payments or commitments.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoFlats and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform, listings, or interactions with other users.
